As Breeam-In-Use Consultant you will analyse, evaluate and advise the client in all sustainability aspects of their real estate and/or area development project(s). This is based on various assessment tools and methods that you will learn to apply at Bopro (such as BREEAM, WELL, DGNB, HQE or LEED).

You will guide the client in the successful building assessment and certification of the building or area. This can be during both the design, construction and/or renovation phase. You always report accurately and punctually on the progress and results of these assessments to the client.

Responsibilities

You advise the design and construction teams on the sustainable measures, studies and information they need to provide, through presentations, workshops or others
You extract maximum value from the investment by optimising the use of assessment tools and methods for the client/construction team
You map and manage the different project steps in accordance with the chosen certification standard
You gather relevant information through surveys, regular discussions with relevant stakeholders, attend relevant project meetings, visit construction sites, etc
You align and report on the progress and outcomes of the assessments, offering advice and suggesting improvements if needed
You write an assessment report and coordinate communication with the relevant certification body (e.g. BRE Global Ltd for BREEAM)
You map, manage and report the CO2 emissions of a building in operation. Then you work out an improvement plan to reduce CO2 emissions

Requirements

You have a college degree
You have an interest in real estate and sustainability and want to use your knowledge and skills to make our built world and space better, with the aim of making a positive contribution to a climate neutral Europe
Are you already certified in one or more tools? If so, that's a great thing. If not, we will take you through a training and certification process
First and foremost, you find the challenge in accurately and disciplined guidance and execution of the various steps in an assessment process
You are a trigger who likes to progress together with others and through consultation. You have experience in preparing, leading and following up meetings. You give advice where necessary
You enjoy working in an international team and maintain good relations with our team in Paris
You speak and write fluently in two languages Dutch and English or French. Knowledge of German is a plus.
