Across Terminal on the Blue Gate Antwerp site, Indigo is building, in 2 phases, a sustainable parking building that will provide space for 1,049 cars and 20 motor vehicles. In the multimodal hub with a surface area of 800 sqm – at the head of the building – people can park their bicycles, share bicycles are available, there is space for charging bicycles but also a number of additional functions (rest area, parcel vending machine,...) were foreseen here.

All parking spaces are designed column-free, distinguishing this building from a classic parking building. Ambitious objectives were defined: embodied carbon of maximum 240 kg CO₂-eq. per m², ESPA approval with a minimum score of 200 out of a total of 300 points and CO₂ neutrality by 2050.

In this project, Bopro assists the developer and end user with Integrated Project Management. Supervising studies including Life Cycle Assessment and carbon impact studies, monitoring of planning, quality and budget from start to completion and exploitation are part of our range of tasks.
