So Ouest

So Ouest is a high-end western Parisian shopping center, built in 2012. There are 115 brands in total (restaurants and shops) on 56,000m² of surface area.

Bopro was responsible for the BREEAM assessment. In 2014, So Ouest received its first "BREEAM In-Use" certificates for Part I and Part 2 with continuous improvement over the years, which has made it possible to reach the "OUTSTANDING" level since 2017.

The BREEAM philosophy is in the DNA of the center's teams, a whole series of small investments and operations have been made and upgraded in order to improve the overall sustainable performance of the shopping center.

This led to the second "BREEAM In-Use" certificates for Part 1 and Part 2 both with the "OUTSTANDING" six-star rating according to BREEAM In-Use 2017. This success declares that the asset is built with thoughtful use of technologies, energy- and water-saving equipment (vegetated terrace, use of rainwater, energy performance contract, under-metering on all installations, etc.) and materials, ecological characteristics but also a healthy indoor environment and well-being. The center includes the BREEAM In-Use aspects in its operation and communicates good practices to the brands (LED passages, reduction of water consumption, etc.).
