VLAIO provides Centre Cities the opportunity to be guided in the redevelopment of vacant and/or neglected business premises with economical functions, especially when this space for business is threatened to be lost under pressure of higher returns for the residential function. Guidance is provided by consortia of experts in space planning, stakeholder management, real estate calculation, project management, legal expertise, knowledge of market needs and research.

Bopro - in collaboration with Atelier Romain and Equator Lawyers - is one of the 3 guidance teams commissioned by VLAIO, which guided the cities of Harelbeke, Roeselare and Kortrijk in their quest and visioning in the period 2020-2023 for possibilities for the intertwining of working and living in the redevelopment of abandoned industrial sites within the residential areas.
