During the concept phase, the safety coordinator monitors the concept formation. In doing so, he proactively collects information to expose possible risks from the start.

During the execution phase, the coordinator has an overall view of the information flows between the various parties. The VC acts as a communicator, but also as an advisor. He is extremely attentive to all information regarding the execution of the works and adjusts processes and agreements if necessary.

For the Health & Safety Coordinator, the use phase is the phase in which the end user is central. He draws up safety data sheets based on technical data sheets and instructions, and this in function of the maintenance of the building (or even in function of a later demolition).

The management of the building is prepared based on safety regulations, the post-intervention file and safety sheets.
